Daniel Locke | SEO Consultant & Account Manager

Daniel Locke - SEO Account Manager & Internet Marketing Consultant

Welcome to my personal website.

I'm an Internet Marketing Consultant specialising in Search Engine Optimisation, reporting for duty at Receptional Ltd. Put simply, Search Engine Optimisation, or SEO, is the process of ensuring your website can be found by anyone using Internet search engines like Google, Bing and Yahoo. The chances are that people are searching for your products and services every day, and if you do not feature prominently on search engines results pages, a huge amount of business could be being lost.

I help organisations make the most of their website, boost traffic & conversions, improve user experience and maximise their online brand visibility through ethical, organic and highly successful optimisation techniques.

Experience

Working at Receptional I have managed a variety of client accounts across many different industries including tourism, retail, energy and professional services. My colleagues and I have an impressive track record of achieving significant success in improving conversion rates, increasing customer interaction and ultimately growing ROI for clients big and small.

Before joining the search team at Receptional, I worked in the not-for-profit sector for the National Enterprise Network as Communications Editor.

Specialties

  • Search Engine Optimisation
  • Copywriting
  • Website Analytics
  • PR
  • CMS
  • Email Marketing

Education

I graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2008 with a degree in Journalism, which stood me in good stead to ply my trade in marketing. Many of the skills I developed during my studies are inherently fundamental to the industry, particularly Internet marketing, such as writing succinct, informative copy, sniffing out nuggets of interest and an eye for detail.

Interests

A keen interest in all things tech (it comes with the territory), as well as music, food, Everton FC and talking about all the above over a pint.

This is me, in Wales. Lovely.
